Christmas at The Dream Centre

With everything from a Christmas fayre, Santa's grotto and of course our fantastic Christmas give away. Christmas saw our first venture into big time drama with our interpretation of an old classic The Wizard of Droz, starring David Warrington as Potty and Dan Clark as Otto his faithful sidekick they brought the house down.

With a cast of 1000's we rolled out the old classic The Wizard of Oz, by putting our own unique spin on the story, Potty who is the hero of the day along with her trusted companion Otto.

Just in case you didn't notice by the way Otto is a cow, who thinks he is a dog but that is a story for another day. The day started with a Christmas fayre with table top sales, games and free activities for the children. As special guests, Santa and his elf arrived in our winter wonderland grotto to speak to all the children and provide them with a present. At the end of the fayre hot punch was provided for everyone and the production began, with every seat taken and 30 people standing it was a great success. David Warrington as Potty pulled off the role just as if he dressed as a woman every week... The production finished with a fantastic climax of our now famous christmas give away.

With prizes like mountain bikes, vouchers, hampers and more the night could not get much better. Pastor Tony gave the gospel message bringing back the real meaning of Christmas. Once he had concluded,  the day finished with refreshments and hot food. Thanks again to everybody who made this all rise event possible.

Watch out for our next adventure - the story of Pinnocchio coming to a venue near you soon!
