Entering In part 4

This week, the British daily newspapers were reporting how a 20 page brochure had been sent to all those invited to William and Kate’s wedding. Because there are so many commoners attending, the brochure sent out is designed to inform, teach, or educate those invited how to use their knife and fork, using the outside knife and fork, working your way inside. The brochure went on to say how each person should hold a wine glass, holding the glass from the stem, rather than from the top of the glass, so that no hand-prints can be seen. The Queen is trying to teach commoners the power of a changed environment and how protocol changes when you enter her environment. You might be invited to William and Kate’s wedding, but you are eating and sitting in Her Majesty’s presence.
Luke 14:15-24 When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, “Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.” Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ “But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.’ “Another said, ‘I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I’m on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.’ “Still another said, ‘I just got married, so I can’t come. “The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.’ Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’ “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full. I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.”
Isaiah 8:12-18 “Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread, and he will be a sanctuary; but for both houses of Israel he will be a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare. Many of them will stumble; they will fall and be broken, they will be snared and captured. Bind up the testimony and seal up the law among my disciples. I will wait for the LORD, who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob. I will put my trust in him. Here am I, and the children the LORD has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from the LORD Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion.”
1. We have conspiracy.
2. Fear and dread.
3. A sanctuary.
4. A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.
5. We have a trap and a snare.
6. And we have a people who are a sign and a symbol in a geographical landscape.
7. We have a God who dwells on Mount Zion.
Now let’s look at how God reverses things as we enter in.
Psalm 91:1-16 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge - then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
The promise to those found entering into the rest and shelter of the most high is awesomely powerful beyond belief.
Ask yourself whether you have entered in?
1. To be found dwelling in the shelter of the most high means I must have entered in at some point, therefore I must familiarise myself with the entrance point. (Only those who are the true sons of God are lead by the spirit. Romans 8:14).
Pray asking the Lord: Lord, give me this desire to build my life in Your presence. Holy Spirit put Your hand upon my life and lead me into Your presence, so I may know the power and the presence of the most high’s dwelling place. I ask that as Your hand leads me out of Your presence, I am guided and governed toward doing Your will.
2. Once I am in and found dwelling, He saves me from the fowler’s snare and deadly pestilence. (He saves me from those who deliberately set traps to catch me out, so they can hold and contain who I am and what I am becoming.) Pestilence means outbreaks of sickness, infectious diseases, leading to death, as death cannot come near you. Isaiah 28: 17-18.
Pray asking the Lord: Now that I have entered, I must make some declarations and acknowledgements. He is my Lord, my refuge, my fortress and God in whom I trust. Lord, bring my heart to the place whereby my labour for You becomes a true reflection of the love that I have for You, rather than me serving You by religion, tradition, duty or responsibilities. My openness of heart is to admit to You that my trust has not been in You, but rather has been in my wealth, friendships, career and family, of which I now openly acknowledge.
3. He protects and covers me by His wings. (This means His wings become my supporting surface.)
4. I will discover His faithfulness and feel the strength of this faithfulness upon my life.
5. I will not fear the terror of the dark night, as dark things such as pestilence, arrows of loneliness and fearful thinking, tend to fall upon people during this night hour, for this is not my portion.
6. Though sickness and death break out around me, it will not fall on me, which is a picture of His divine protection given over me.
7. I will observe many things of what is happening to others, but for me my focus is on Him and His dwelling place.
8. Angelic protection is given so as to guide, guard and govern my every movement.
9. I will personally see and taste victory over the enemy of my soul.
10. Because God loves me, He rescued me. If I ever ask how loved am I, my response should be to say, enough that He rescued me. V14
11. Because God knows I love Him and acknowledge Him, His own name will protect me.
12. I have the promise that as I make Him the most high, He will answer me when I call to Him.
My proactive response is....
1. To make the Lord my most high dwelling.
2. To enter in, so I can feel the strength and privilege of finding refuge and shelter.
3. To persistently, lovingly, progressively, yet forcefully, call upon Him.
4. To honour Him with my life and word.
Isaiah 65:11-16 “But as for you who forsake the LORD and forget my holy mountain, who spread a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny, I will destine you for the sword, and you will all bend down for the slaughter; for I called but you did not answer, I spoke but you did not listen. You did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me.” Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “My servants will eat, but you will go hungry; my servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; my servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame. My servants will sing out of the joy of their hearts, but you will cry out from anguish of heart and wail in brokenness of spirit. You will leave your name to my chosen ones as a curse; the Sovereign LORD will put you to death, but to his servants he will give another name. Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the God of truth; he who takes an oath in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes.”
Six dimensional blessing of entering in.
1. Inside of the house the servants eat, but those outside of the house go hungry. Inside the house is nourishment - outside of the house is starvation and hunger.
2. Inside of the house the servants are watered and rejoice greatly. Outside of the house there is unquenchable thirsting.
3. Inside of the house there is connective worship taking place, as divine encounters are causing thankful hearts to rejoice. Outside of the house there is anguish heard in the hearts of the people, as brokenness can clearly be seen.
4. Inside of the house there is legacy and continuity transference. Outside of the house there is death and singularity, each generation is cut off from the previous generation.
5. Inside of the house there is a power presence of God in which to invoke and call down blessing upon the land and it’s people, all of which is done by proclaiming the God of truth. Outside of the house there is no name, no blessing, no truth, only lies and curses.
6. Inside of the house the past sins of the people are not only forgiven but more so are wiped clean away from the eyes of the Lord.
