Notice the key ingredients used here, which are the mouth, lips and heart. All these key ingredients are used when drawing close to God and for God to draw close to us, hence why we must maintain ourselves so that our mouths do not speak what our hearts are carrying, or else we will get ourselves in trouble. Please be aware of the phrase: to thine own self be true.
There is no one who can read the contents of the scroll
They have prophets and seers: Care group leaders, worship leaders, none of which are capable of reading the contents of the scroll.
Isaiah 29:9-12 Be stunned and amazed, blind yourselves and be sightless; be drunk, but not from wine, stagger, but not from beer. The LORD has brought over you a deep sleep: He has sealed your eyes (the prophets) he has covered your heads (the seers). For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say to him, "Read this, please," he will answer, "I can't; it is sealed. Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, "Read this, please," he will answer, "I don't know how to read."
Notice the problems here: We have a situation whereby the Lord has brought over the nation/church/leaders and prophets a dark sleep. Their eyes are sealed and their heads have no understanding. For these people, hearing the word of God was nothing more than just words being spoken. They had no Now word, no future word, therefore they had no destiny being revealed to them, which is a pretty poor state of affairs. When the words of the scroll are opened to them, they cannot read or understand the contents. In essence they have been cut off from receiving, retaining, maturing and multiplying.
Whenever a scroll is sealed, it can be symbolic of either the timing is not right, or because there is rebellion and sin on the ground.
In many charismatic circles today we have prophetic ministries and churches who claim to have entered into the throne room and have been able to break the seal of the scroll, so its contents can be made known. The problem is they have then used that which is to be made known to us to elevate, advertise and advance themselves rather than upgrade the people.
The consequence:
1. The people do not know when they are hearing genuine prophetic ministry.
2. People cannot read the times for themselves.
3. People cannot understand prophetic declarations and what they achieve and because of this the word is powerless in the midst of ignorant people.
Habakkuk 2:2 Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."
Notice the dynamics here:
Then the Lord replied, meaning He spoke out and revealed the contents of His proceeding word found and written in His scroll.
Write down the revelation: That which is being revealed must be recorded within our hearts so it can be fully understood.
Make it plain: If we don't find ways to make the contents of the scroll plain, yet keeping it fully integrous, then people will not buy into it. We must keep saying it over and over again to help people find an entrance point. People do not always resist because they don't agree, or don't like you, but many resist because they do not fully understand you. The leader must help and encourage people to take the part they do understand and from there let it become clearer and clearer to you. As long as people have a starting reference point they will be willing to be fully led.
So that a herald can run with it: A herald is a messenger who takes a word from one hand and delivers it to another's hand. We, the Dream Centre, are God's herald, a people who are receiving from the Father, so as to make the contents of the Father's will known and understood to those gathering in His presence.
The revelation awaits an appointed time: There is a time and a season in God where the contents of the scroll must be made fully known and that time and season we call a Now season.
It will not prove false: It's a word that can be built upon, fully trusted, fully entered into and laid a hold of.
Though it lingers: This is spoken to encourage us not to lose hope, become disappointed, keep focused, remain obedient, progress and labour further in it, for it will come to pass.
It will not delay: The word is fulfilled on time, as it is this dynamic which makes it accurate and strategically powerful.
We must learn to live by the power of Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone but live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
1. Heaven speaks concerning the Father's will.
2. The windows open up as the word proceeds from the Father's mouth.
3. We are postured before the throne-room on the earth so as to receive that which is coming forth to us.
4. Our words and prayers break the seal off the scroll causing it to open up.
5. The spirit shares the contents with us, bringing us into an understanding of the times and the urgency of the hour.
6. We then labour in the understood word, we are sowing it back into the spirit realm.
7. The angels who ascend and descend take back a report of that which they witness on the earth, telling the Father of how we are using that which is being revealed to us.
8. The heavens either then continue to pour themselves out over us, or withdraw themselves from us.
Nothing on earth is created, moves, or is established, without a fresh proceeding word being spoken.
Genesis 1: 1-5 And God spoke concerning the creation of the world and it was created.
If we want God to move in our midst, we must learn to operate by the contents of the scroll, for as we reveal the will of heaven speaking it out, the move of God begins taking shape within us and around us.
Deuteronomy 30:11-17 Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, "Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?" Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, "Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?" No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it. See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them.
What word is near me and in my mouth? The word that I, as pastor, have been speaking to you as leaders, for it is this word that you must now eat and be filled with.
Ezekiel 3:1-4 And he said to me, "Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat. Then he said to me, "Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it." So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth. He then said to me: "Son of man, go now to the house of Israel and speak my words to them."
Your responsibility as a leader or influencer, is to fully diligently eat the contents of what you have been receiving, by using the notes, praying the words through and by asking God to make the contents of the notes clear and plain to you.
Eat this scroll until it tastes sweet in your stomach and as you eat it you will rise like the boat with a new message burning within you. It is this word that will sustain you and cause a spirit buoyant-led life to arise within you.
The contents of the scroll must have their fulfilment in our midst
Isaiah 29:17-22 In a very short time, will not Lebanon be turned into a fertile field and the fertile field seem like a forest? In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see. Once more the humble will rejoice in the LORD; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down- those who with a word make a man out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice. Therefore this is what the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, says to the house of Jacob.
Exodus 17:14 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven."
Isaiah 8:1-8 The LORD said to me, "Take a large scroll and write on it with an ordinary pen: Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz. And I will call in Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah as reliable witnesses for me. Then I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. and the LORD said to me, "Name him Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz. Before the boy knows how to say 'My father' or 'My mother,' the wealth of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried off by the king of Assyria. The LORD spoke to me again: "Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoices over Rezin and the son of Remaliah, therefore the Lord is about to bring against them the mighty floodwaters of the River the king of Assyria with all his pomp. It will overflow all its channels, run over all its banks and sweep on into Judah, swirling over it, passing through it and reaching up to the neck. Its outspread wings will cover the breadth of your land, O Immanuel."
Zion and its dynamics are not human in their origin
Noah's ark was a design of a supernatural design, a design that was not of human origin but of supernatural origin. God's picture of His church is not natural, it isn't built by human hands but is built however through human vessels, which is a huge difference. When you have natural humanistic designs, we have what we call 'church usual', meaning everything you need for the natural life is found, whether it be entertainment, support and encouragement, though this is good and helpful it isn't necessarily God. Though these are important and powerful to a church, they are what they are, which is natural. Natural without the supernatural equals natural, whereas supernatural with the natural equals naturally supernatural.
Zion must take us away from everything that appears to be natural, for if it is natural then it cannot be supernatural, for if it is natural then it isn't Zion. With the natural you have boundaries, limitations and containment, but with the supernatural there are no boundaries, limitations or containment, for the harbour walls cannot contain that which He is pouring into us.
Daniel 2:9-13 If you do not tell me the dream, there is just one penalty for you. You have conspired to tell me misleading and wicked things, hoping the situation will change. So then, tell me the dream, and I will know that you can interpret it for me. The astrologers answered the king, "There is not a man on earth who can do what the king asks! No king, however great and mighty, has ever asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or astrologer. What the king asks is too difficult. No one can reveal it to the king except the gods, and they do not live among men. This made the king so angry and furious that he ordered the execution of all the wise men of Babylon. So the decree was issued to put the wise men to death, and men were sent to look for Daniel and his friends to put them to death.
When the earth looks for natural tools and methods for doing a supernatural job, then we lose lives and we can potentially also lose our heads in the process. The time is now for the Dream Centre, for the world is looking for a man who can break the seal open and to interpret the dream of the king.
Dynamics of entering Zion
1. A hungering and thirsting must take place within the people. When you are hungry and thirsty in the spirit, we are told that we will see God. We are not thirsty or hungry because we have lack, but because we want more of Him. It is our hunger and thirsting for God that will cause God to bring us closer to Zion.
Nehemiah 9:20 You gave your good Spirit to instruct them. You did not withhold your manna from their mouths, and you gave them water for their thirst. For forty years you sustained them in the desert; they lacked nothing, their clothes did not wear out nor did their feet become swollen. "You gave them kingdoms and nations, allotting to them even the remotest frontiers. They took over the country of Sihon king of Heshbon and the country of Og king of Bashan. You made their sons as numerous as the stars in the sky."
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
2. The Church must be fully cleansed and cleaned up, or it gets cleared out: God removes anyone who the Holy Ghost cannot rest upon. The dove in the ark was found to have nowhere to land. Contentious and divisive people are moved out of our midst as these people resist the move of God.
Genesis 8:8-11 Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. But the dove could find no place to set its feet because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.
3. The church must become aligned to the prophetic and apostolic: Covering is a key fundamental aspect of the apostolic ministry, as it is this covering that protects, guides and guards the house from error and misfortune. If there is no covering, then God cannot continue to pour Himself into the house, as God works with a man and the man works with the people. All churches that build upon apostolic structures grow and gain momentum and why, because it is God's order and pattern.
4. Zion is built and established around a strong expression of connective worship: David's tabernacle is the tabernacle that is to be built in the last days and why, because it is a true picture of heaven and how heaven interacts with man.
Acts 16:25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose.
5. Zion must find us a strong spirit of prayer: Our prayer must be prayer that has captured the urgency of the hour. Our prayer must be filled with the proceeding word, as it is the proceeding word that must be then sown back to heaven. Only that which is being received must be prayed, so as to keep us fully focused.
Acts 4:31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
6. Zion's river must flow into every part of the church, flooding every department, every person and every structure. The leaven of the bread must fill everything.
7. Zion will manifest all types of usual and unusual manifestations, it is because of this that the people must become well ordered in life and discipline, so the protocols of the house never become ignored or dishonoured. We must learn to become comfortable with what we see in order to fully lay hold of it. We must remember that manifestations are not the move in itself, but are currents of the move flowing through the move. So many people get caught up on the manifestation, but miss the message of the move. We cannot be found just teaching people why manifestations happen, but rather keep the centrality of the message central. Don't abandon the message of Zion, for you must familiarise yourself with this message, rather than being just happy receiving its dimensions.
Acts 19:10-12 This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord. God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
8. Zion must have good leadership and good leadership is one that knows how to live and function by command and demand. Living by demands simply means that we learn to bring our lives into alignment with what the urgency of the hour demands of us. We prioritise what we do and how we do it. Demands are what God commands from us, for God demands that we live, move and function according to His commands. A good leader/influencer is a person who does not take the pastor's words as an offence, but learns his ways. You cannot become too familiar with him and say you know his ways, for this is soulish. Familiarity will kill the move within you and within the house, for it will lessen the grace, the message and the seriousness of the man's spirit. Familiarity weakens, diminishes and reduces, it never allows a man to fully arise. Familiarity can never fully discern the times or the season in which to enter in, because people don't know how to separate the word they hear and receive from the man, so they never fully receive the word.
9. Zion is not only contagious but must become continuous, for it must flow out to every generation within. Zion is the only known remedy for counteracting this culture and its preferences. Zion is the only antidote in counteracting a drug culture and abuse culture, marriage, despondency, self-indulgence and promiscuity.
Our new advancement as leaders-influencers
We will enter into a 28 day fast: What this means is that over a 28 day period, fasting will take place. Unless you have any dietary issues, or diabetes, then we the leaders and influencers will seek to undertake no food for a period that you feel is honourable to the Lord. Water and juices are recommended. You may want to do a one day fast a week, two, three and so on. Each week, I believe you must set a firm goal before the Lord and ask Him is this what You demand of me? During your fast, the principle is not starvation, for fasting is not starving the body, but disciplining the soul and the body, for by denying the flesh the spirit man is strengthened as it comes forth. You may say, well I don't like fasting, to which my reply is neither do I. The human body does not like being starved, period. Taking into account the comments that Dr Lonny spoke to us whilst in the Players Changing Room concerning fasting, it is my opinion that he made some very interesting points regarding fasting, of which I feel were points worth noting, however despite those comments I must remain honourable to my convictions. We will proceed with our fasting, believing our attitudes and motive to be pure. It is during this fast that notes will be given to you for your encouragement and given to guide you in how and what to pray. Please, may I encourage you in the following; if this fast is to be impactful and meaningful then you must be fully focused. You must set aside a good ample time in which to pray and ask God to give you and us a righteous spiritual hunger and thirsting. You must remain focused. You must learn to press in via prayer and worship intimacy.
You must pray using the proceeding word, as it is this word that has already been given to us so we can build on. Zion is looking for pole bearers, people who will carry the ark of God's presence into the midst of the people. Zion will cost us all emotionally, practically, spiritually, fiscally.
