Toddler Group

The Dream Centre Parent and Toddler Group would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your children. We would like to introduce you to our Parent and Toddler Group and to outline what we have to offer to you and your child(ren), along with the Code of Conduct we have.

Welcome to the Toddler Group

The Dream Centre (formerly Bethel Christian Centre) has been serving the community of Droylsden on our King St. site for over 50 years and the Parent and Toddler Group has been running for over 20 years. During this time we have been delighted to have welcomed three or four generations of the same family to our Group. Because of our longevity and consistency we have also been able to enjoy a good standing with Social Services as well as within the wider community.

Our aim is to provide a warm, friendly and safe environment for you and the child(ren) you bring.

We are a Christian church that strongly believe in sharing God’s love for everybody, both within the church and in the community. Our prayer is that your time with us is both enjoyable and fruitful for you and your child(ren).

Should you wish to talk to the leaders, Shirley or Carol, about our beliefs, then please feel free to ask us and we will be pleased to help.

Opening Hours

Session Cost

There is a cost per session per parent or carer and that includes tea/coffee and toast and the children also enjoy toast and a soft drink and a biscuit.

The Team

The Dream Centre’s Parent and Toddler Group is run by 5 volunteers headed up by Shirley and Carol. Shirley and Carol are supported by Lin, Kath and Kath’s husband, Rick. We believe without doubt, that Kath does the best tea and toast in Droylsden!

Events

During the year we usually run the following events, but also run other activities on an ad hoc basis:

Summer party, where we have a bouncy castle, food and fun and games.

Christmas party, where each child receives a present from Father Christmas.

Usually, there is no charge for the summer party, but a charge is made for the Christmas party, which is strictly an all ticket event, unless otherwise agreed with Shirley or Carol.

Conclusion

On behalf of the team here at The Dream Centre, we trust that you will find your times with us enjoyable and fun for both you and your child(ren).

Please see the following Code of Conduct.
